ettled in 1659 and incorporated in 1661, Hadley has an
Open Town Meeting government with three Selectmen. The
annual Town Meeting is held in the spring in the Hopkins
Academy "cafetorium." Town offices are located in the
Hadley Town Hall, located at the junction of Routes 9
and 47, was built in 1841 and renovated in 1968.
